Just In Trend's Flame Resistant FR Lightweight Coverall is made of Flame Resistant 88% Cotton / 12% Nylon blended twill fabric, with a fabric weight of 7 oz / sq yd. This fabric complies with ASTM F1506 for Arc Flash and NFPA 2112 (ASTM F1930) for Flash Fire. The Arc Flash rating (ATPV) is 12 cal / cm2 and complies with an HRC 2 rating. The garment is NFPA 2112 / HRC 2 compliant and UL Certified. The fabric is mercerized and designed to provide minimal shrinkage, maximum comfort, and optimum safety and durability.

The design features full sleeves with cuffs, a heavy-duty 2-way YKK Brass FR zipper, action back pleats, and various pockets including 2 breast pockets with flaps and snap closure, 2 quarter-cut swing front pockets, 2 patch hip pockets, a utility pocket on the right thigh, and a pen/cell phone pocket on the left upper arm. Side vents for inner access, a pen slot on the left breast pocket, and elastic on each side of the waist for a better fit are also included. The coverall also has one 4” hammer loop and is manufactured to US Standard Size Charts.

In terms of compliance, the coverall meets NFPA 2112 (ASTM F 1930) for Flash Fire, ASTM F1506 (D6413 + F1959) for Arc Flash, and HRC 2 (ATPV of 12 cal / cm2). It is also UL Classified and all NFPA 2112 / HRC 2 garments are identified by a 3-point labeling system.

Care instructions are provided as the FR cotton-based fabrics must be well cared for to extend life and minimize shrinkage. The fabric is mercerized, but it is recommended to wash in mild temps and mild detergents to extend its life. For garments that are worn on top of other garments, have a looser/comfort fit, or undergo routine industrial washes, it is recommended to go with one size up on the garment.
