About this Item: MATERIAL & CONSTRUCTION: This garment is made of flame-resistant 88% Cotton/12% Nylon twill lightweight fabric. The fabric weighs 7 oz/sq yd and complies with ASTM F1506 for Arc Flash and NFPA 2112 (ASTM F1930) for Flash Fire. The minimum Arc Flash rating (ATPV) is 12 Cal/cm2, and it meets the HRC 2 rating. The garment is NFPA 2112/HRC 2 compliant and UL CERTIFIED. The fabric is mercerized to provide minimal shrinkage, maximum comfort, and optimal safety and durability.

DESIGN & SIZING: This item features full sleeves with cuffs, a Western-style front opening with Pearl Snap buttons, action back pleats, and two breast pockets with flaps and snap closures. There is a pen slot on the left breast pocket. The design focuses on safety, performance, style, and value. The garment is manufactured according to US Standard Size Charts. COMPLIANCE: The garment is compliant with NFPA 2112 (ASTM F1930) for Flash Fire and ASTM F1506 (D6413 + F1959) for Arc Flash. It has an HRC 2 rating (ATPV of 12 Cal/cm2) and is UL Certified (check labels for UL Stamp). All NFPA 2112/HRC 2 garments are identified by a 3-point labeling system.

WASH/CARE INSTRUCTIONS: To extend the life of the FR cotton-based fabric and minimize shrinkage, it is recommended to follow the provided wash and care instructions. The fabrics are mercerized to reduce shrinkage, but washing in mild temperatures and with mild detergents is advised. If the garment will be worn on top of other garments or require a looser/comfortable fit, it is recommended to size up.
